Continental Will Invest Over R$ 170 MILLION in Factory Expansion in Paraná

Continental is committed to the Brazilian market and will invest over R$ 170 million in expanding its factory in Paraná, one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world. This expansion aims to meet the growing demand of the national market and will bring high-strength conveyor belt technology, producing steel cord conveyor belts with strengths greater than 6,000 N/mm and up to 10,000 N/mm. This investment will not only strengthen Continental but also contribute to the economic development of the Ponta Grossa region and the state of Paraná.

The factory expansion will create around 200 new direct and indirect job opportunities in the region. Furthermore, the investment is expected to contribute to the economic development of the municipality of Ponta Grossa and the state of Paraná as a whole.
