In just four months, the BYD King established itself as the runner-up in the medium sedan segment, surpassing established specifications like the Nissan Sentra. And in October, the model broke its own record, with 585 units registered, reinforcing its space in the market, according to webmotors.

If the goal of the BYD King is to reach the top, it still has a long way to go. In October, the Toyota Corolla, the absolute leader in the segment, sold an impressive 3,780 units (counting both hybrid and combustion versions). However, the King’s performance is still noteworthy: despite trailing the Corolla, it outperformed competitors like the Nissan Sentra, which ended the month with 536 units sold. BYD, it seems, is determined to make the King a reference among hybrid sedans in Brazil.
