The Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), announces the opening of registrations for the free online course (EAD) specializing in inclusive sports and physical activities for people with disabilities, according to Notice No. 25/2024. 165 places are offered, distributed across five centers. This lato sensu postgraduate course is a unique opportunity for professionals who want to qualify in the area of ​​inclusion and adapted sports, combining quality and flexible education.

The free online specialization course (EAD) aims to train professionals Graduates in Physical Education and related areas to work on the development of inclusive practices in sports and physical activities for people with disabilities. The course lasts 18 hours and has 360 hours of classes, which include theoretical modules, practical activities, seminars and assessments in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) and mandatory face-to-face meetings at support centers.

The 165 vacancies are distributed equally between the following centers:

  • Andrelândia: 33 vacancies
  • Bicas: 33 vacancies
  • Good Hope: 33 vacancies
  • Cataguases: 33 vacancies
  • Lagoa Santa: 33 vacancies

Selection process

The selection process will consist of:

  1. Mandatory Documentation Conference: candidates must present documents such as undergraduate diploma, CPF and letter of intent.
  2. Analysis of the Letter of Intent: scored from 0 to 100, the letter will be evaluated based on its suitability to the topic, clarity, consistency and correct use of the Portuguese language.
    Tiebreaker criteria include oldest age and time of application submission.

Application requirements

To participate in the selection process, candidates for the free online specialization course (EAD) must have a degree in Physical Education or related fields, recognized by the MEC. They must have internet access with capacity for activities in the AVA, basic computer skills and be available to attend in-person meetings at the support centers. Mandatory documents include a degree, identity card, CPF and letter of intent, among others specified in the notice.

  • Final Result: 03/02/2025

  • Surplus Registration: 12/02/2025 to 14/02/2025
  • Classes start: 02/08/2025
