The Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), announces the opening of registrations for the free online (EAD) specialization course in inclusive sports and physical activities for people with disabilities, according to Announcement No. 25/2024. A total of 165 spots are offered, distributed across five locations. This lato sensu postgraduate course is a unique opportunity for professionals who wish to qualify in the area of inclusion and adapted sports, combining quality education and flexibility.
The free online (EAD) specialization course aims to train professionals graduated in Physical Education and related fields to work on developing inclusive practices in sports and physical activities for people with disabilities. Lasting 18 months, the course includes 360 hours of classes, which comprise theoretical modules, practical activities, seminars, and assessments in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), along with mandatory in-person meetings at the support locations.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of:
- Verification of Mandatory Documentation: candidates must present documents such as graduation diploma, ID number, and letter of intention.
- Analysis of the Letter of Intention: scored from 0 to 100, the letter will be evaluated based on relevance to the theme, clarity, consistency, and correct use of the Portuguese language.
The tie-breaking criteria include age and time of application submission.
Requirements for Registration
To participate in the selection process, candidates for the free online (EAD) specialization course must hold a degree in Physical Education or related fields recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). It is necessary to have internet access capable of supporting activities in the AVA, basic computer skills, and availability to attend mandatory in-person meetings at the support locations. The required documents include a graduation diploma, ID, CPF, and letter of intention, among others specified in the announcement.
