The Federal Institute of Triângulo Mineiro Offers 540 Spots for Beginner Language Courses in New Cities and Two Campuses
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Triângulo Mineiro (IFTM) has just launched a public notice for the filling of spots in free language courses. If you want to learn Spanish, French, English, or Brazilian Sign Language at the beginner level, don’t miss the chance to enroll! The registration is open from November 1 to December 2 and must be done exclusively online, according to the JMonline website.
Available Courses and Campuses
The courses offered by the IFTM Language Center provide spots at all campuses of the institution. This includes Campina Verde, Ituiutaba, Patos de Minas, Paracatu, Patrocínio, Uberaba, Uberaba Technology Park, Uberlândia, and Uberlândia Center. In addition, there are campuses in João Pinheiro and Ibiá, ensuring broad coverage for all interested.
This year, IFTM brings an exciting new feature! For the first time, the English course will be offered in a distance learning format at two campuses. A total of 20 spots will be available at the Patos de Minas Campus and another 20 at the Uberaba Campus. Thus, this option becomes an excellent opportunity for those living in other locations and wishing to study flexibly.

Spots and Quota Reservation
In total, the public notice offers 540 spots, distributed among the courses and campuses. This free offer aims to democratize access to language learning, allowing young people and adults from the Triângulo Mineiro region to develop new skills. To promote inclusion of different candidate profiles, IFTM allocates 40% of the spots to the internal community, composed of staff and students from technical courses, undergraduate, and graduate programs. Additionally, 35% of the spots are reserved for the external community, allowing individuals who do not participate directly in the institute to also apply.
Selection Process: Public Draw
The selection process took place in a single step, through an electronic draw. Therefore, all registered candidates will have equal opportunities. The draw will take place on December 10, at 3 PM, and will be broadcast live.
The link for access to the draw will be announced on the official page of the selection process on December 9. This transparency stands out as a differential of IFTM, which seeks to keep the public informed and ensure that everyone follows the selection steps. Candidates will be able to watch the draw from anywhere, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to inclusion and accessibility.
Results Disclosure and Enrollment
The final result will be published on December 13 on IFTM’s admission page. Therefore, approved candidates should keep an eye on the selection process page, as all information regarding enrollment and necessary documents will be available exclusively online.
