Revitalization of the Tubarão Martelo Field Will Be Carried Out in Two Stages and Will Cost Around US$ 77 Million to Dommo Energia
Dommo Energia (Ex-OGX) announced through the financial report, released last Friday (3/29), that it has a revitalization plan for the Tubarão Martelo field, in the Campos Basin.
The plan would consist of two stages and aims to increase the asset’s production to 10,000 barrels per day. The first stage will include the completion of well 7-TBMT-4HP, which is already drilled but not connected to the FPSO OSX-3, in addition to the workover of well 7-TBMT-2HP and the acquisition of a spare submersible centrifugal pump.
The second stage will focus on the other three producing wells in the field (6HP, 8H, and 44HP) and will concentrate on workover activities as they become necessary.
Dommo had already announced this revitalization plan for the Tubarão Martelo field last November and estimated an expenditure of US$ 77 million.

About the Company
Dommo also operates the Atlanta field in the Santos Basin, but is facing a dispute with Queiroz Galvão and Barra Energia who are fighting to remove Ex-OGX from the consortium.
The Tubarão Martelo field produced an average of 2,300 barrels per day in 2018, a decline of 2% compared to 2017, while the Atlanta field had a production of 12,000 barrels per day, taking into account the 40% belonging to the company.
Dommo’s revenue in 2018 was R$ 538 million, an increase of 26% compared to 2017, but it faced a loss of R$ 670 million last year, reducing the losses reported in 2017 by 66%.
In December 2013, Dommo Energia began oil production in the Tubarão Martelo field, which is being carried out through the FPSO OSX-3, which by 2018 had produced over 15 million barrels of oil.
