Vacancies are for the July recess period with the possibility of being hired after the period
A DP World Santos, responsible for the operation of the Port of Santos, abre is offering 12 internship vacancies for higher education students in the areas of: administration, economics, logistics, psychology, information system, information technology, among other areas.
Among the requirements placed by the company, is that the candidate is a resident of Baixada Santista, 100% scholarship holder, and that they are expected to end in 2023. The vacancies are also intended for PCDs.

The internship program offered by DP Word Santos is part of the #SemTabu project, developed by the company for the inclusion of new professionals.
According to Karina Abreu, responsible for the company's internship project, the vacancies are a great opportunity for young people to start a career in the port of Santos. “The Holiday Internship program is a gateway to working in the Port of Santos, as it has a positive balance of hiring,” he explains.
Those approved acted in a hybrid way, when part of the work is carried out in person and the other remotely.
In its 7th edition, the #SemTabu project has already employed 155 professionals who are distributed in 39 sectors of Porto Santos, the largest port in South America.
Internship vacancies come as a help in times of high unemployment
According to the latest survey carried out by the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), currently there are 14,4 million unemployed in Brazil. Which shows that opportunities like those offered by DP World Santos are a financial solution in times of crisis.
In addition to getting a new income, those selected for the vacancies will be able to pursue a career within a large company. Something much sought after in recent times by professionals from different areas.
The importance of working in the Port of Santos
The port of Santos is the largest in Latin America, and is one of the main ports responsible for supplying goods from Brazil and the world. With all its structure, the port allows the movement of cargo for different niches of goods, namely: bulk, solid, liquid and automobiles and other categories of cargo.
Its representativeness reaches 25% of the goods sent from Brazil to other countries.
In February, the port of Santos recorded a new record for handling goods, reaching 10,9 million tons. Number that represents an increase of 2,5% compared to the period of last year.
