With Golden Interiors, Private Suites, and Paint Inspired by the Album Nothing Was the Same, Rapper Drake’s Boeing 767, Valued at US$ 185 Million, Redefines Luxury in the Skies.
For world-renowned artists, traveling by private jet offers freedom and convenience. Being in different cities, states, or countries in just a few hours becomes part of the routine. Some musicians prefer smaller, more discreet jets, while others opt for large jets that become symbols of status and power.
An emblematic example is the British band Iron Maiden, which used a Boeing 747-400 on a 2012 tour.
Following this grand tradition, Canadian rapper Aubrey Drake Graham, known as Drake, adopted his own Boeing 767 as his main mode of transportation.

An Exclusive and Customized Boeing 767
In 2019, Drake began using a Boeing 767-200ER from the Canadian company Cargojet. The aircraft, registered under the tail number N767CJ, was reportedly granted to the artist through a long-standing partnership with the airline.
Manufactured in 1996 in a VIP configuration, the jet was originally delivered to Mid-East Jet Saudi Arabia Limited before landing in Cargojet’s hands.
The interior of the plane impresses with its luxury. The space features a spacious lounge equipped with elegant furniture, walls with gold details, and three private suites.
The floor is entirely covered in carpet, enhancing comfort and exclusivity. The aircraft can carry between 30 and 45 passengers, offering an experience comparable to a five-star hotel in the air.
Luxury, Art, and a Striking Visual Identity
In 2020, the Boeing underwent a renovation valued at around US$ 100 million, under the creative direction of designer Virgil Abloh. As a result, the jet’s total value reached an impressive US$ 185 million. The outcome is a fusion of elegance and artistic personality.
Externally, the jet has received different paint jobs over the years. The latest features shades of blue and white reminiscent of a sky with clouds, a direct reference to the album Nothing Was the Same. The name “Air Drake” appears on the engines, while the OVO brand logo — an owl — adorns the vertical stabilizer. On the fuselage, the irreverent slogan “If you’re reading this we left” reinforces the humorous and striking tone of the Canadian star.
