Eletronorte Opened Applications for Its Selection Process for Internship Positions, Targeting Students Without Experience from High School, Technical and Higher Education from Various States
Eletronorte is already accepting applications for its 2022 internship program. The selection process is aimed at students from high school, higher education, and technical vocational education in institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). The internship positions are for young people without experience residing in the following states: Paraná, Roraima, Federal District, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia, Amapá, Amazonas, Tocantins, Acre, and Maranhão.

To participate in the selection process for the internship positions, candidates must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution by MEC, be Brazilian or a foreigner with a residence visa, be up to date with electoral obligations, not have more than 18 months of experience at Eletronorte, be up to date with military service obligations, and be at least 16 years old. It is worth noting that students must complete their registration by March 6.

The selection process for the company’s internship program will involve curriculum selection and also an online test, which will consist of 20 questions divided between topics in Portuguese language, basic computer skills, and basic mathematics for candidates without technical and high school experience.

Available Internship Positions at Eletronorte
Among the internship positions for candidates without experience, 10% will be allocated for people with disabilities (PwDs) and 30% for self-declared mixed-race or black individuals. There will also be 10% for candidates who receive benefits from socioeconomic programs.
In the case of candidates from technical or high school, the family must be registered in CadÚnico, and for higher education, candidates must participate in FIES or PROUNI. When starting their jobs through Eletronorte’s program, the approved candidates will receive benefits such as a scholarship of R$ 354.64 for candidates from technical and high school and R$ 638 for students in higher education.
Meal assistance of R$ 657 and transportation assistance equivalent to two bus fares will also be provided for those working in the in-person modality. The work schedule for inexperienced interns will be 4 hours per day, resulting in 20 hours per week, which will be carried out in shifts defined by the company.
