Additionally, it was designed to operate with renewable energy, reducing emissions linked to international transportation.
Strategic Position in the Sector
According to the commercial vice president, Anderson Bruno, manufacturing these motors in Brazil places the company on the “global strategic map of climate control.”
He highlighted that international markets are looking to diversify suppliers, and Brazil emerges as a relevant alternative.
The BLDC technology is seen as essential to increase energy efficiency, prolong the lifespan of equipment, and reduce noise.
Technology and Application
BLDC motors differ from traditional models as they do not use mechanical brushes. This eliminates friction and wear, allowing for more precise speed control.
The application ranges from residential and commercial air conditioning to industrial automation, embedded climate control, and HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Expansion of Capacity and Innovation
The new hub expands Elgin’s supply potential for various segments. The facility also hosts a co-development center, allowing clients and engineers to create and test customized solutions.
According to COO Caio Guazzelli, the initiative strengthens national innovation, generates local value, and consolidates the company as an integrated supplier in the Climate Control and Industrial Automation sectors.
