Software Development Company Conducts Study on the IT Sector
Last year, CBYK conducted research across the country to establish the profile of professionals in the sector in Brazil. The research states that about 52% of professionals are young people between 20 and 30 years old, 23% are young people between 16 and 21.
Among those aged 30 to 40, about 21% and above 40, only 4%. According to the research, the dominant gender in the market is male, with 65%. Women occupy 27% and the LGBT audience around 8%. The study by the software development company was conducted with 400 professionals from all over Brazil and another 200 employees from the company during the days 18 to 24 of May last year, by phone.
