A Design Company from Italy Developed a Second Version of a Flying Yacht with Hybrid Propulsion. This Version Is Even Larger and Faster than the Previous Luxury Yacht
Lazzarini, a design studio from Italy, developed a luxury yacht concept that features hybrid propulsion, enabling it to fly and navigate through waters. Called Air Yacht V2, the flying yacht works like a kind of airship, but faster and bolder than its previous design. The main highlight of the current flying yacht, equipped with hundreds of solar panels, presented earlier this year, is its new, more elegant futurist design.

The current model features the same configuration of three hulls, with two twin airships enabling the luxury yacht to fly. The main hull acts as a command deck.
The Air Yacht V2 uses more carbon fiber, less glass, and is 19 meters longer than the previous model, with a total length of 169 meters, providing advantages in speed with hybrid propulsion. In width, the luxury yacht measures 130 meters and is 40 meters tall from base to top. The central hull of the vehicle has a height of 8 meters.

Based on the creator’s projections, the current luxury yacht can fly at a maximum speed of 185 km/h for two full days. In the history of aviation, airships are not seen as synonymous with speed. Therefore, if the hybrid-propelled flying yacht truly hits the market, it will surely set new records.

Like its first version, the Air Yacht V2 features twin airships filled with helium, lightweight batteries, solar power panels, and nearly 1000 horsepower rotating electric motors each.
The motors are for propulsion and for use over water, where the vehicle can reach a maximum speed of only 9.2 km/h. Regarding comfort, the designers from the Italian studio planned accommodations for around 20 people in ten cabins evenly distributed between the two airships. The flying yacht also includes a master suite located in the central hull for greater privacy.
Interior of the Flying Yacht
The central hull of the hybrid propulsion vehicle is smaller, yet more elegant compared to the previous model. Much of the space is occupied by the command deck, and there is also an observation room and dining area in this part of the design.
Unfortunately, more detailed images of the interior of the super flying yacht have not yet been released. Meanwhile, at the back of the stern hull, a large open deck can be seen, accessible via a large staircase, which could serve as a beach club while the vehicle floats or as an observation area while the vehicle flies.
