Multinational Launches Product Capable of Reducing 50% of Machinery Wear in the Industry and Ensuring Million-Dollar Savings for Large Companies in the Automotive Sector.
The French multinational, Motul, launched a lubricant focused on engine economy for companies: with the new product, it will be possible to reduce metal wear by up to 50% while filter changes are reduced by around 20%. The French company has been in Brazil for over thirty years seeking sustainable solutions for industries by launching innovative oils and lubricants focused on long-term cost reduction.
Celso Cavallini, Business Development Manager at Motul Brazil, asserts that the company is focused on producing premium automotive and energy products, adhering to all quality standards imposed by the industry. In summary, these are lubricants aimed at reducing engine wear and optimizing maintenance durability, including under the most severe operations.
Gas Engine Oil That Increases Its Durability
Motul, a giant multinational, has been in the energy market for over five years and offers specialized support. One of its recent standout launches occurred in Colombia, where they created an oil application for gas engines combined with a highly efficient cooling fluid, allowing for increased engine durability.

With 122 hp, fuel consumption of up to 17.7 km/l, and a trunk capacity of 440 liters, this hybrid SUV impresses even though it costs up to R$ 47,000 more than the Yaris — meet the Toyota Corolla Cross.
The discoveries made by the company in Colombia enable the automotive industry to achieve a 20% annual reduction in filter expenses. Another aspect highlighted by the institution is that they are ensuring a decrease in lubricant disposal costs, as the oil change would have a longer interval.
New Oil Allows for 50% Cuts in Metal Wear and Savings of US$ 40,000 Per Year
Another aspect raised by the studies is the possibility of reducing wear on metals by up to 50% alongside a decrease of up to 10 degrees in temperature, which results in longer-lasting and more efficient parts. Each engine, according to the multinational, could yield savings of over US$ 40,000 per year.
Cavallini states that industrial engines are becoming more efficient, allowing for cost reductions and greater production durability. High-quality coolants are thus necessary to control temperature and reduce environmental impacts, which are generally caused by oils disposed of by the automotive sector.
These are specific oils intended for engines powered by landfill biogas, as well as natural gas and diesel. They are 100% synthetic oils composed of highly selected minerals.
Using Lubricants Correctly Guarantees 60% More Protection for the Engine
A survey shared by Click Petróleo e Gás conducted by Mobil™ shows that correct use of lubricants and cooling systems ensures that there will be 60% more engine protection.
The survey also indicates that wear protection can reach 32%, resulting in parts having greater durability than initially predicted. Lastly, but by no means least, the oil company’s survey showed that engine protection against temperature effects can reach about 67%.
