When the Delivery Driver Was Arrested During a Traffic Stop, Officers Decided to Complete the Delivery of the Pizza and Surprised the Customer.

A woman living in Tempe, Arizona (USA), had an unexpected surprise when she received her pizza.

When she opened the door, instead of the delivery driver, she found two uniformed police officers, badges and all.

The driver had been arrested moments earlier during a traffic stop.

Camera Records Everything

The entire situation was recorded by a body camera of one of the officers. The footage was shared on the Tempe Police Department’s social media and has already garnered over 2.4 million views on platform X.

After arresting the driver, the officers noticed a pizza in the trunk of the vehicle.

By checking the GPS on the Grubhub delivery app, they located the destination and decided to complete the delivery.

“So, the Grubhub guy got arrested,” explained one of the officers while delivering the pizza.

The woman, visibly surprised, expresses her gratitude. The officer even jokes: “It should still be warm.

Official Message with Pun

The video post on social media was accompanied by a humorous caption: “We are committed to serving our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whether it’s for safety or pizza delivery.

The incident, besides going viral, showed a relaxed and approachable side of the local police, who chose not to leave the customer without her meal, even in an unusual situation.
