Ericsson Has Dozens of Openings in Its Trainee Program for Candidates Residing in the States of SP and RJ.
Ericsson is accepting applications for the new edition of its internship and trainee program, called Ericsson Next Generation. Applications can be submitted until August 31, aiming to develop young talents from SP and RJ with a genuine interest in technology, who enjoy challenges and carry a spirit of innovation, creativity, and collaboration in their DNA with the goal of transforming the future through cutting-edge connectivity.
Requirements to Participate in Job Openings
In this year’s edition of Ericsson’s program, there are 50 job openings for undergraduate students and another 4 trainee positions for recent graduates in business and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
The selected young candidates will begin working at Ericsson in February 2023 in a hybrid model, with both remote and in-office arrangements, at various locations within the LATAM South operation based in São Paulo, at the Research, Development, and Innovation Center in Indaiatuba (SP), at the offices in Alphaville (SP), and Barra da Tijuca in RJ, and also at the operation in São José dos Campos.

According to Silvio Paciello, Vice President of People at Ericsson for the Southern Cone of Latin America, the young people from RJ and SP approved in the Trainee program will find a collaborative atmosphere, with encouragement for proposing new solutions, and tangible opportunities for the evolution of strategic projects, regardless of their level of experience. Paciello emphasizes that the company strongly believes in building from the continuous exchange of knowledge and experiences among different generations, which is why Ericsson is motivated daily.
Selection Process and Applications for Trainee Positions
The Ericsson selection process this year will be entirely online and includes 5 stages: interview, business game, streaming session, case study, and final interview with managers. The program will last one year for trainees, with three job rotations during this period, and up to two years for interns.
Applications can be submitted until August 31 on the company’s website. According to Luciana Leite, Brand and Communication Director at Ericsson for the Southern Cone of Latin America, an initiative developed by the technology knowledge team, sharing relevant content, and Young Talent with the academic community is essential to have innovative minds every day.
