The Federal Court in Pernambuco has opened internship positions for higher education students with a stipend of R$ 1,200, transportation allowance, and opportunities in various cities.
The Federal Court in Pernambuco announced the opening of a new selection process for internships with 24 immediate positions and formation of a reserve list for higher education students. The notice was released by the Federal Court in Pernambuco (JFPE) and includes candidates from different academic areas. Applications are open until May 20, 2026, through the IGEDUC Institute. The aim of the selection is to strengthen the administrative and technical sectors of the institution in units in the capital and the interior of the state.
Approved students will receive a stipend of R$ 1,200, in addition to a transportation allowance of R$ 12 per working day. The workload will be 20 hours per week, allowing the internship to be balanced with university life. Selected candidates will be entitled to personal accident insurance during the contract period.
Federal Court offers positions for different courses
Participation criteria vary according to the intended course. For Law students, it will be necessary to be enrolled from the 5th period onwards. Candidates from the courses of Administration, Accounting, Design, Journalism, and Information Technology must be attending at least the 3rd period.

Another important requirement is to have at least one year remaining until graduation. Furthermore, candidates cannot have another active internship at the time of hiring.
Positions are distributed in various cities of Pernambuco
The positions at the Federal Court are distributed across various cities in Pernambuco. In addition to Recife, the positions and reserve list include units of the Federal Court in Caruaru, Goiana, Garanhuns, Ouricuri, Petrolina, Palmares, Salgueiro, and Serra Talhada. Thus, students from different regions of the state can participate in the selection.
Applications remain open until May
Interested parties can apply until May 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Registration must be done exclusively on the official website of the IGEDUC Institute.
The registration fee is set at R$ 57. However, the notice provides for exemption for candidates registered in CadÚnico and also for bone marrow donors, provided they meet the established requirements.
Selection process will have an objective test and essay
The selection process of the Federal Justice will include more than one evaluation stage. The first phase will be an objective test consisting of 50 questions, scheduled for June 7, 2026.
The exams will take place in the municipalities of:
- Recife;
- Caruaru;
- Serra Talhada;
- Petrolina.
Qualified candidates will also undergo a discursive stage with an essay.
Additionally, the announcement provides for heteroidentification procedures for black candidates and medical documentation analysis for people with disabilities (PwD), ensuring compliance with legal quotas.
Contract may last up to two years
Another highlight of the vacancies offered by the Federal Justice is the duration of the internship. According to the announcement, the contract may last up to two years.
During this period, students will also be entitled to personal accident insurance provided by the institution.
The selection will have an initial validity of one year, which can be extended. Thus, candidates approved in the reserve list may still be called in the future, according to the needs of the JFPE.
