New Fiat Pickup Arrives With New Design
The Fiat Titano in question will receive a complete restyling later this year, which will make it a more competitive new Brazilian pickup to take on the current segment leader Toyota Hilux and runner-up Ford Ranger, which has recently caught up with Toyota in sales.

On the sides, the Fiat Titano, with its 200 HP diesel engine, features 18-inch diamond-cut wheels, an aluminum roof rack, and chrome door handles. Moving to the rear, the new Brazilian pickup has its name written with a darkened sticker on the tailgate, and the tailgate now has a different opening, with a sort of step to facilitate access. New Fiat Pickup Will Debut With 200 HP Diesel Engine
In terms of powertrain, the new Fiat Titano will have updates here before even receiving the restyling. The new Brazilian pickup will bring the engine that is used in the Ram Rampage diesel and will arrive, both in the Toro and in the Titano, starting in the second quarter of this year. The engine is the new 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel, generating up to 200 horsepower and 45 kgfm of torque.
This 200 HP diesel engine is expected to be linked to the same six-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter, after all, it is a new Fiat pickup that requires fewer gears, as it carries more weight, and the ideal is to have more power delivering more torque in lower gears.
This new setup allowed the Rampage to reduce its acceleration from 0 to 100 in nearly 3 seconds and in the Fiat Titano at least one second. It is an advantage, given that with the current engine, which has 180 horsepower and 40.8 kgfm of torque, it is considered slow.
Another highly anticipated item that should arrive alongside the adoption of the new mechanics in the Fiat Titano is electric steering, helping it become more economical and also aiding in the gain of safety features.
Interior of the New Brazilian Pickup Features New Technologies
Inside, the new Brazilian pickup with a 200 HP diesel engine will adopt a very basic update, practically only changing the instrument panel to a 7-inch screen, the same as in the Toro, and the steering wheel will also be different from the current two-spoke design.
