Ford Opens Registrations for Free Courses in Technology
Ford announced the opening of new classes for the Ford program in São Paulo and Bahia, increasing the number of positions and enriching the technical content of the course.
The free initiative trains professionals to work in software programming, a field with high demand in the technology market.
Registrations are open until February 7, and interested parties can register on Ford’s official website.
In 2025, 540 positions will be offered throughout Brazil, with 300 of them being allocated to Bahia.
Currently, 90 positions are available in the state, distributed between morning and evening shifts at Cimatec Orlando Gomes, and in the afternoon at Cimatec Digital e Criativo, in Pelourinho.
Classes are scheduled to start in March.
Ford Differentials
In addition to training in programming, Ford offers a broad education, including technical English, logic, behavioral skills, mentoring, and specialized lectures.
The program also provides financial assistance for food and transportation, pedagogical support, and social assistance, ensuring that students can focus entirely on their studies.
To participate, no prior knowledge in technology is required. The requirements are:
- Be 16 years or older;
- Be enrolled in or have completed high school;
- Have a family income of up to four minimum wages;
- Reside in the metropolitan area of São Paulo or Salvador.
Program Impact and Market Recognition
Since its launch, Ford has stood out as a program of significant social impact.
According to Roberta Madke, Social Responsibility Manager at Ford South America, the initiative provides real transformation opportunities, allowing participants to build a qualified career and improve their living conditions through education.
At the end of the course, students receive Senai certification and have support to prepare for job interviews and connections with the job market, thanks to the partnership with Rede Cidadã, which also conducts the selection process and socio-emotional development of participants.
A Social Impact Initiative
Ford is the result of collaboration between Ford Philanthropy, Global Giving, Senai-BA, Senai-SP, and Rede Cidadã.
Created in 2002, Rede Cidadã stands out for developing solutions for inclusion and income generation, promoting connection between the private sector, government, and civil society.
The program aims to meet the growing demand for technology professionals while offering young people in vulnerable situations the chance to enter the market with differentiated qualifications.
This initiative reinforces Ford’s commitment to education, innovation, and social responsibility.
