Para contribui com a auto suficiencia brasileira, uma pergunta deve ser respondida: o petróleo ficará no país para ser refinado ou não criara mais empregados além dos míseros da indústria de exploração? Em um universo de produção diário de 4 milhões de boe, entre Petrobras e demais operadores, não será uma única produção diária de 50 mil boe que salvará o pais na dependência de exploração nacional de petroleo.
A outra pergunta é: foi descoberto em 2001 e só veio a ser produzido em 2024?
