Launch Transforms The Goian Automotive Market

The Navesa Group recently inaugurated its first unit of the Chinese automaker GAC Motors in Brazil, located in Goiânia.
The company, the sixth largest manufacturer in China, offers five electrified models with a focus on innovation, performance, and energy efficiency.
As a differentiator, the operation already has a structured after-sales system, including spare parts and direct technical training with the manufacturer.

The arrival of GAC in the country comes at a time of significant growth in the sustainable vehicle sector.
According to the Brazilian Association of Electric Vehicles (ABVE), Goiás ranks eighth nationally in the number of registrations for electric and hybrid vehicles since 2022.
The regional share corresponds to about 4% of the market.
The Midwest region, including Brasília, represents 14.8% of sales, with 29,635 electrified units.

According to Feng Xingya, president of GAC Group, Brazil will be the main base outside of Asia.
The operation started with 83 points of sale and aims to reach 120 dealerships by the end of 2025, spread across all regions of the country.
The company has also established a technical partnership with Inmetro to collaborate on the development of electric recharge measurement standards.

Models Combine Performance, Range, and Connectivity

Among the highlights, the electric SUV Aion V delivers 204 hp, a 75.3 kWh battery, and a range of 602 km (NEDC cycle).
The Hyptec HT impresses with gullwing-style rear doors, a motor of up to 245 hp, and a range of 510 km.
Both are 100% electric, featuring a bold design coupled with high energy efficiency.

The GS4 is a hybrid SUV with a combined power of 235 hp, urban consumption of up to 14.1 km/l, and a powertrain that integrates an electric and combustion engine.
The system uses the Atkinson cycle, which improves energy efficiency in urban and highway conditions.
For those who prefer sedans, the Aion ES emerges as an alternative with 136 hp and a range of 450 km.
Prices start at R$ 169,990, reinforcing the proposal to offer innovation at a competitive cost.

All vehicles use exclusive GAC platforms, such as the Magazine 2.0 battery, with high thermal resistance, and the ADiGO system.
This system includes an intelligent cockpit and power-assisted steering.
The company already holds more than 19,000 patents and operates research and development centers in the United States, Europe, and China.

The choice of Goiânia as the site for GAC’s first unit in Brazil reinforces the regional potential in the sustainable mobility sector.
Furthermore, the technical structure of the unit was planned to meet both families and enthusiasts of smart vehicles, which expands its strategic reach.
For this reason, Goiânia thus consolidates its role in advancing clean technologies aimed at national transportation and the future of mobility.
