Unmissable Opportunity! Open Slots for Free Technical Courses at IFSC. Register Online and Start Your Professional Qualification.

The Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC) announced Edital No. 26/2025, regarding the selection process for remaining slots in Concurrent, Integrated, Subsequent, and Proeja/Technical courses. Registration is free and will be conducted exclusively online. The offered free technical courses cover continuing education and professional training in various areas.

The goal of the free technical courses is to equip students to work in the job market with high-quality technical and professional training. Professional qualification courses will be offered in both face-to-face and Youth and Adult Education (Proeja) modalities. The workload varies depending on the course, including practical activities, theoretical classes, seminars, and assessments to ensure comprehensive training.

Available Slots and Locations

The Federal Institute-IFSC offers remaining slots at various campuses across the state of Santa Catarina, as described in the edital. The free technical courses offered are:

  • Araranguá: Fashion Production Technician, Mechanical Technician, and others.
  • Caçador: Computer Technician, Electromechanical Technician.
  • Chapecó: Occupational Safety Technician, Mechanical Technician.
  • Florianópolis: Various courses, including Surveying Technician and Electronics Technician.
  • Jaraguá do Sul: Clothing Technician and Systems Development Technician.

Selection Process and Quotas

The selection for professional qualification will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, respecting the quotas established in MEC Ordinance No. 2,027/2023. There are reserves for Black, Brown, Indigenous, Quilombola people, persons with disabilities, and students from public schools. If slots are not filled, they will be available for open competition.

Registration Requirements

For concurrent courses, candidates must be enrolled in high school at another institution. Integrated courses require completed elementary education, while subsequent courses require completed high school. Proeja/Technical is aimed at individuals over 18 years old with completed elementary education.

Selection Process Schedule

  • Registration: From 02/10/2025 (08:00) to 02/19/2025 (23:59).
  • Announcement of approved candidates: 02/21/2025.
  • Subsequent calls: Published as needed for filling slots.

How to Register for Free Courses

Registrations are made exclusively through the Federal Institute’s website sistemadeingresso.ifsc.edu.br/inicio.php. There is no registration fee or tuition.
