This action is part of Mayor Leandro Vilela’s government plan, which prioritizes promoting job creation and improving the local population’s training.

Mayor Leandro Vilela emphasized that the partnership with Governor Ronaldo Caiado and the School of the Future strengthens the municipal administration’s commitment to training the local workforce. According to him, investing in professional training is essential to ensure better job opportunities and strengthen the city’s economy. “Professional qualification expands possibilities in the market, allowing our citizens access to better-paying jobs,” the mayor emphasized.

The Schools of the Future in the State of Goiás (EFGs) are a project of the Government of Goiás aimed at providing free professional qualification courses, benefiting high school students, university students, and professionals looking to enhance their skills or enter new areas of the job market. This initiative strengthens education and employability, ensuring more opportunities for the population.
Registrations and Participation Criteria
Registrations for the free professional qualification courses are now open and can be made through the website efg.org.br/editais until all spots are filled.
This initiative targets young people aged 16 and older who are currently enrolled in or have completed high school, as well as workers who wish to acquire new knowledge or re-enter the job market. The program offers fully free classes, with 80% online and 20% in-person, with classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
