Scheduled to start in August and lasting 18 months, G.Start seeks students from the fields of Engineering, Administration, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, International Trade, Law, Economics, Logistics, Marketing, Pedagogy, Psychology, Chemistry, Information Technology, and Related Areas. The company offers benefits such as Life Insurance, Medical Assistance, Dental Assistance, Medication Aid, Transportation/Commuter Voucher, and Meal.
Gerdau is one of the main suppliers of long steel in the Americas and special steels worldwide. In Brazil, it also produces flat steel and iron ore, activities that broaden the product mix offered to the market and enhance the competitiveness of operations. Additionally, it is the largest recycler in Latin America and, globally, transforms millions of tons of scrap metal into steel annually.

Until June 30, university students from all over Brazil can apply for opportunities at the company’s units in 10 states: Ceará, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and Sergipe.
During the program, participants improve their technical knowledge in their fields of study and develop skills such as entrepreneurship, collaboration, openness to innovation, and focus on results.
“In addition to immersing themselves in Gerdau’s culture, young people have the opportunity to accelerate their development through practical actions, sharing experiences, and formal training. The proposal is to train new professionals capable of proposing simple and agile solutions to the challenges of an increasingly dynamic business environment,” explains Raquel Cardoso, People Leader in Brazil.
