Partnership Initiative with Senai Offers Front-End Course, Technical English Classes, Financial Support, and Assistance for Employment Insertion
Ford has opened registrations for a free training program aimed at training in technology in Bahia, in partnership with Senai. After the success of the project launched in São Paulo, the initiative has been expanded to Salvador and aims to train 300 low-income youth in front-end programming and essential digital skills, according to the website VC/SA.
Technology Course and Much More
With a duration of five months, Ford’s training course offers in-person classes at two locations in Salvador: CIMATEC, in the Piatã neighborhood, and CIMATEC Digital, in Pelourinho. In addition to front-end development, the program includes technical English classes, programming logic, behavioral skills, mentoring sessions and lectures on technology industry trends. The total workload will be divided into new modules:

- Versioning and Agile Methodologies (22h)

Benefits and Participation Criteria
Ford’s training course is completely free and offers a monthly scholarship of R$ 360 to assist with participants’ food and transportation expenses, with payments in daily installments. Additionally, students have access to pedagogical support, social assistance, and guidance for job interviews, along with a diploma issued by Senai at the end of the course.

- Previous experience in programming is not recommended
Selection Process for Ford’s Training Course
The selection process for Ford’s training course involves five steps, including online registration, a remote challenge of 20 questions for logical evaluation, and a test of knowledge in mathematics and text interpretation. In the final phase, candidates will participate in in-person interviews. Registrations for the first class are open until November 28, with classes scheduled to start on January 6, 2025.
