The month of April brought changes to the automotive market, and the Honda City 2025 was one of the affected models. The Japanese automaker implemented a price increase for the sedan and hatchback versions, with increases reaching up to R$ 3,100 in the higher trim levels. The update in prices does not alter the technical structure of the model, which continues to focus on safety, technology, and efficiency in powertrain.

Honda City 2025 Sedan: Higher Trim Levels and Features Retained
The Honda City 2025 sedan saw significant price adjustments in almost all versions, except for the entry-level configuration.

The LX version, the most accessible in the lineup, remains priced at R$ 117,500, with no changes this month.
The EX version increased from R$ 130,500 to R$ 133,600, while the mid-range EXL went from R$ 138,200 to R$ 140,800. The top-of-the-line Touring is now offered at R$ 149,200, compared to the previous R$ 146,700.
Despite the increase, the configurations still come with the well-known 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC flex engine, delivering 126 hp and torque of up to 15.8 kgfm when fueled with ethanol. The transmission is always an automatic CVT type simulating seven gears, present across the entire lineup.
Hatchback Also Follows the Same Price Increase Trend
The hatchback lineup of the Honda City 2025 also received similar price adjustments.
The EX version rose from R$ 129,500 to R$ 132,600, the EXL went from R$ 137,200 to R$ 139,800, and the Touring now costs R$ 148,200, after a R$ 2,500 increase.
The LX version, just like in the sedan, remained unchanged at R$ 117,500.
Equipment Remains Comprehensive, Even in Entry-Level Versions
In terms of equipment, the Honda City 2025 stands out for its robust offering starting from the entry-level version.
The LX comes with six airbags, digital air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, an 8″ multimedia system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as traction and stability control.
The EX adds rear parking sensors, a keyless entry system, and the Honda Sensing safety package, which includes features like autonomous braking and lane-keeping assistance.
The EXL features leather seats, a front sensor, and integrated GPS. The Touring version is distinguished by full LED headlights, wireless charging, and an audio system with 8 speakers.
Even with Increases, Honda City 2025 Maintains Good Cost-Effectiveness
The Honda City 2025 remains a strong option in the premium compact sedan and hatch market, even after the price adjustments.
The appreciation in the higher trim levels reflects advancements in technology and safety offered by the model, keeping it competitive against the main contenders in the Brazilian market.
