Caoa Changan CS75 arrives in Brazil with 1.5 TGDi Turbo flex engine of 180 hp, Aisin eight-speed automatic transmission, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds, and fuel consumption of up to 12.3 km/l with gasoline.
The Caoa Changan CS75 arrives in Brazil with a direct focus on performance: 1.5 TGDi Turbo flex engine, 180 horsepower, and Aisin eight-speed automatic transmission. The mid-size SUV was adapted by Brazilian engineering to meet the national market.
The setup also delivers 29.2 kgfm of torque and allows the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. This proposal positions the CS75 as a large option within the segment of mid-size SUVs sold in the country.
Flex engine adapted for Brazil
The 1.5 TGDi Turbo engine was already known but underwent adaptation to receive flex technology. The change was made by Brazilian engineering, focusing on adapting the SUV to the conditions and demands of the national market.

In addition to the engine, the Caoa Changan CS75 received specific calibrations in the suspension and steering. The adjustments aimed to adapt the dynamic behavior to the Brazilian public.
The suspension is independent, with a McPherson system at the front and multilink at the rear. The shock absorbers were also modified to better withstand the potholes of Brazilian streets.
Consumption reported by PBEV
According to the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program, the CS75 achieves 7.2 km/l in the city and 8.5 km/l on the highway when fueled with ethanol.
With gasoline, the numbers rise to 10.5 km/l in urban cycle and 12.3 km/l on highways. These figures help gauge the performance of the flex engine within the SUV’s proposal.
SUV has size of seven-seater models
Although it only carries five occupants, the Caoa Changan CS75 has dimensions close to seven-seater SUVs in the national market. It measures 4.77 meters in length, 1.91 m in width, 1.69 m in height, and 2.80 m in wheelbase.
The trunk also stands out. It has a capacity of 610 liters, which can reach 1,620 liters with all seats folded and the floor lowered.
Single version and promotional price
In Brazil, the Caoa Changan CS75 is sold in the Infinity version. Two weeks after the official launch, the price was reduced by R$ 20,000, dropping from R$ 199,990 to R$ 179,990.
The condition is temporary and applies to a small batch of units called the “Celebration Edition.” Customers who purchased the SUV during the pre-sale will also be entitled to the discount.
The model will also be produced in Anápolis, Goiás, in a “piece by piece” format, with imported components arriving completely separated to allow greater nationalization of processes from the start of production.
