Fiat Strada dominates April with almost 13 thousand units registered and shows why a compact pickup continues beating hatches, SUVs, and electric vehicles in the Brazilian market.
Approximately 150 kilometers were driven, enough to assess some of the vehicle’s most interesting innovations.
Among the highlights, we selected five technologies that will be present in the new Honda HR-V, with sales starting on July 30th at dealerships across Brazil.
5. Honda Sensing With New Features
The Honda autonomous driving system, called Honda Sensing, has been updated. The new version gained more functionalities and recalibrated its main features.
One of the highlights is the Low Speed Following (LSF), which controls acceleration and deceleration at low speeds. Now, this system includes a traffic jam mode and can fully stop the vehicle if the car in front also stops.
Ariel Mógor, the brand’s Marketing and Public Relations manager, stated that the latest calibration has made acceleration and braking smoother, enhancing the driver’s experience.
4. Enhanced Acoustic Insulation
Another improvement noted during the test drive was the enhancement of acoustic insulation. The cabin is quieter thanks to the application of spray polyurethane foam in the gaps of the roof, doors, and trunk.
The soundproofing treatment was adopted across all versions and showed good practical results in noise reduction.
3. Fuel Tank In New Position
The position of the fuel tank has also changed. Previously located under the rear seat, the tank is now distributed across the floor.
This change brought a direct benefit: an increase of 1.20 meters of ground clearance. This gain is appreciated by those seeking more interior space in an SUV.
2. Air Conditioning With Diffusion Mode
The air conditioning system continues with dual zones and vents for the rear seat, but now has an additional feature: diffusion mode.
This new function diverts airflow away from the face and chest regions, directing it to the sides. This keeps the environment comfortable without causing discomfort for the occupants.
1. Modular Seats With Three Modes
The traditional modularity of the seats, already known in Honda SUVs, has been maintained and enhanced. The Magic Seat system offers three configurations: Utility, Long, and Tall.
This allows for transporting wider, taller, or longer items with simple adjustments, without making loading difficult.
The 2026 version of the HR-V arrives with changes that go beyond the visual, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to comfort, technology, and practicality.
