Selection Process Starts with Two Notices and Includes 16 Campuses; Online Registrations Open Until September 30, 2025
The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso (IFMT) opened registrations for the selection process for the first semester of 2026 this Monday (28).
There are 1,350 vacancies distributed among 16 units in the state, offering free in-person courses with varied shifts.

In both modalities, there is no requirement for an in-person exam.
This facilitates participation from students all over the state.

Bachelor’s, Licensure, and Technology Courses in 16 Cities
Vacancies are distributed among bachelor’s, licensure, and technology courses, covering various fields of knowledge.
IFMT offers morning, afternoon, evening, and full-time shifts, varying according to the course and chosen campus.
All courses are in-person, starting in the first academic semester of 2026.

This facilitates access to free higher education.
Decentralization reinforces the institutional commitment to democratizing education.
It also strengthens the valorization of the interior of Mato Grosso.
Free and Digital Registration Ensures Quick and Easy Access
Candidates should pay attention to the specific requirements of each notice.
To compete with ENEM, it is necessary to provide the score from any edition between 2010 and 2024.
Those interested in the selection via high school transcript must present the final averages from high school.
These data must comply with the established rules.
No in-person exam will be held, and the entire process takes place online.
The registration is simple, with no fee charged.
It guarantees participation in the selection process for the beginning of 2026.
IFMT Reinforces Commitment to Inclusion, Interiorization, and Public Education
The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso, therefore, reaffirms its commitment to public education, free and inclusive through this broad and transparent selection process.
Moreover, the use of two entry methods ensures that students with different backgrounds actually have real chances of accessing the available vacancies.
Likewise, the implementation of the quota system strengthens democratic access, as it ensures opportunities for groups that have been historically excluded from federal public education.
Additionally, the diversity of courses and the structure comprising 16 campuses firmly reinforce IFMT’s presence in all regions of the state.
According to Notices No. 85/2025 and No. 86/2025, all details, requirements, and guidelines have been organized clearly and objectively.
Finally, this information is available for consultation on the official website of the institution, making it easier for candidates to access essential data about the process.
