The first vacancy is for a teacher of Electrical Engineering/Automation, and candidates need to have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, or a Technology degree in Automation and Control.

The second vacancy at the Federal Institute is for an English teacher, requiring a degree in Language Studies with a specialization in English.
The work regime will be 40 hours per week, and the job vacancies offer a salary that varies according to the candidate’s qualifications.
The starting salary is R$ 3,412.63 and can reach up to R$ 6,356.02 for candidates with a doctorate. Additionally, hired candidates will be entitled to benefits such as food allowance and transportation allowance.
Stages of the Selective Process for Teacher
The selective process will consist of two main stages: the Didactic Test and the Titles Test.
The Didactic Test will take place on January 11, 2025, and will consist of an explanatory class on a drawn topic, according to the candidate’s area.
For Electrical Engineering teacher vacancies, the topics include electrical circuits, general electronics, automation systems, among others. For the English teacher vacancies, the topics cover areas such as verb tenses, modals, passive voice, and reading strategies.
The Titles Test at the Federal Institute will be conducted based on the documentation submitted by the candidate. To pass this stage, the candidate needs to score at least 7 points on the Didactic Test.
The Lattes curriculum and supporting documents must be submitted on the test date.
Benefits and Schedule of the Selective Process at the Federal Institute
In addition to the salary, the job vacancies at IFMA offer benefits such as a food allowance of R$ 1,000.00, transportation allowance, and pre-school assistance for dependents under 6 years old.
The schedule of the selective process includes the drawing of topics for the Didactic Test 48 hours before the test takes place, with the final result expected to be announced on January 31, 2025.
