The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA) announced the opening of a selective process to fill temporary job vacancies at the Açailândia Campus. The positions offer salaries of up to R$ 6,356.02, depending on the qualifications of the approved candidate.

Requirements for Job Vacancies for Teacher

The selective process offers vacancies for two areas of expertise.

The first vacancy is for a teacher of Electrical Engineering/Automation, and candidates need to have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, or a Technology degree in Automation and Control.

The second vacancy at the Federal Institute is for an English teacher, requiring a degree in Language Studies with a specialization in English.

The work regime will be 40 hours per week, and the job vacancies offer a salary that varies according to the candidate’s qualifications.

The starting salary is R$ 3,412.63 and can reach up to R$ 6,356.02 for candidates with a doctorate. Additionally, hired candidates will be entitled to benefits such as food allowance and transportation allowance.

Stages of the Selective Process for Teacher

The selective process will consist of two main stages: the Didactic Test and the Titles Test.

The Didactic Test will take place on January 11, 2025, and will consist of an explanatory class on a drawn topic, according to the candidate’s area.

The Titles Test at the Federal Institute will be conducted based on the documentation submitted by the candidate. To pass this stage, the candidate needs to score at least 7 points on the Didactic Test.

The Lattes curriculum and supporting documents must be submitted on the test date.
