The Ministry of Education is offering over 200 free online courses (EAD) with certificates in various fields through the AVAMEC platform – Virtual Learning Environment of MEC. The opportunities are available throughout Brazil, there is no selection process and no limit on vacancies. According to MEC, there are already over 1 million registered users to take the free courses available online (EAD). All courses provide certification at the end, making it an excellent way to generate complementary hours in college. After passing, the student themselves issues the document online.

The courses offered are in various areas such as Sports, Statistics, Administration, English Language, Mathematics, Health, Portuguese, Text Production, Digital Resources, Information and Communication Technologies, Ethics, Human Sciences, Natural Sciences, Computational Thinking, and much more.
