In Addition to Electric Cars, Chinese Companies Advance in Discovering New Technologies
Chinese companies are developing new technologies, such as CATL, which presented its new super battery that can offer, in addition to a range of 1 thousand km, ultrafast charging for electric vehicles and already has several interested clients, including two automakers from China.
The third generation of CATL’s battery system will be used for the first time by the brand Zeekr in its next model, which will be launched in the first quarter of next year.
CATL is providing components for almost all automakers in China and it is believed that they will shift to newer and better technology. Among the standout specifications, the system offers a volume utilization efficiency of 72%, ultrafast charging at 4C, among others.
