The clock is already ticking, as with the publication of the authorizing ordinance, the announcement is expected to be released by June 2025, opening a window of expectation and preparation.
So if you’re eager to test your knowledge, study; the exams are expected to take place at least two months after the announcement is published.
So, mark your calendars and start preparing for this challenge that could change your life.
Unauthorized Positions and the Hope for New Opportunities
But not everything is rosy on the horizon of the Ministry of Finance. Despite the excitement over the new exam, the ministry had requested a total of 2,171 positions for various levels, but authorization came only for 30 higher-level positions.
The anticipated opportunities for Technical-Administrative Assistant (ATA), with 1,319 positions at the medium level, were not authorized.
The Special Plan of Positions also saw its hopes dashed, with proposals for roles such as: Administrator (175 positions)
- Archivist (40 positions)
- Librarian (22 positions) and
- Economist (124 positions) remaining on paper, in addition to the higher-level Technical-Administrative Analyst role.
A Look Back: The Last Finance Exam
However, looking back, the last announcement for the Finance Support area, which included positions for ATA, took place in 2014, under the direction of the School of Finance Administration (Esaf).
In that exam, 1,026 opportunities were offered for technical-administrative assistants, with 960 positions for general competition and 66 for people with disabilities.
The required education was at the medium level, and the registration fee was R$62. Thus, with the validity period expired in 2016, there are no more approved candidates in the reserve list, which means a new chance for those seeking to enter public service.
Therefore, stay tuned for updates on this federal public competition.
The Ministry of Finance is about to open its doors to new talents; this could be your chance to be part of a prestigious institution, with challenges and rewards to match.
Keep a close eye and get ready to seize this unique opportunity!
