The electric micro car from Nissan and Mitsubishi combines roof racks and plastic cladding around the wheel arches, bumpers, front end, with a two-tone paint pattern that features a matte blue bodywork and copper-colored roof.

According to the automaker, the last color is a reference to the “winding of an electric motor”. The concept that will change the automotive industry also features X-shaped badges on the front and side bumpers that are intended to “symbolize the combination of a body kei with an “SUV feel” and all-electric appeal.

In addition to the K-EV X Style, Mitsubishi's booth at the Tokyo Motor Show is also comprised of the Minicab-MiEV B-Leisure Style, a leisure-focused concept based on an electric commercial car.

Nissan will also launch an electric micro car

The concept is being built in partnership with Nissan, through j NKMV Co. 50/50. Nissan will also launch its kei car 100% electric for the automotive industry on the same platform and its model has chances to be inspired by the 2019 Nissan IMk Concept design.

One of the highlights is that the model comes equipped with the MiEV Power Box, which can use battery power to power household appliances and electronic devices such as an electric kettle, a laptop, coffee maker, among others. Like the K-EV X Style concept, Nissan's concept features a two-tone paint scheme, where the roof is ivory and the body is moss green, reminiscent of campgrounds and forests.
