The best-selling electric car in Brazil in 2023, the BYD Dolphin, is about to become even more accessible for app drivers. A partnership between the Chinese automaker, 99 App, and Banco Santander promises discounts, lower financing rates, and subsidies on operational costs to make the “Chinese Dolphin” a even more attractive option, according to the website Canaltech.
Discount on the Base Model with Santander and 99
BYD will grant an 8% discount on the list price of the base model of the Dolphin, reducing the price from R$ 149,800 to R$ 140,812.
Additionally, Banco Santander will offer discounts of 15%, 22%, or 26% on the financing rate, depending on the down payment amount chosen by the customer (zero down payment, 30%, or 50% of the car’s value).
