MRS, a logistics operator that manages a railway network of 1,643 km in the states of Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo, is offering job vacancies for electrical maintenance technician, operations technician, and track technician for Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. Nearly 20% of all that Brazil exports and a third of all cargo transported by trains in the country pass through MRS’s tracks.

Requirements: Complete High School + Vocational Course in Industrial Electricity; + Desired Category B Driver’s License – Minimum 03 Years;

Important Knowledge: Technical knowledge in maintenance and construction of permanent track; Office suite.
Important Experiences: Experience in track maintenance.
The Position: The permanent track technician position is responsible for conducting inspections on the assets/components of the permanent track (AMVs, rails, ties, fastenings), prioritizing corrective activities, planning the annual maintenance plan in conjunction with engineering, leading maintenance teams, conducting training for maintenance teams, weekly planning of activities, checking the quality of services performed by subcontracted teams, conducting failure analyses with other technicians, performing inspections using track parameter measurement equipment, and monitoring actions related to the permanent track.
Operations Maintenance Track Technician
Location: Conselheiro Lafaiete, Minas Gerais

Requirements: Technical Education in Civil Engineering, Roads, Railways, Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics; + Category B Driver’s License – Minimum 03 Years; + Desired Category D Driver’s License – Minimum 03 years;
Important Knowledge: Maintenance of heavy equipment, industrial, hydraulic, electrical, electronic.
Important Experiences: Industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic) and railway (rolling stock).
The Position: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance according to machinery maintenance procedures for geometric correction. Additionally, support operations in operational routines. Execute corrective and preventive maintenance on earthmoving machines and line trucks.
