Surprisingly, this city has been responsible for some of the country’s greatest innovations, attracting billion-dollar investments and hosting globally renowned companies.

Technology and Innovation Center

São José dos Campos, located in the Paraíba Valley, about 100 kilometers from São Paulo, is recognized as one of Brazil’s largest technological and industrial centers.

The city is a reference in the aerospace, technological, and industrial sectors, housing giants such as Embraer and the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), two global powerhouses in scientific development.

According to industry experts, Embraer has established itself as one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world, while INPE develops satellites and space technologies used even by other countries.

These institutions keep São José dos Campos at the forefront of technology, being considered key players in Brazil’s scientific development.

Strategic Location and Infrastructure

Besides its technological potential, the strategic location of São José dos Campos is another factor that sets it apart.

The city is connected to the capital and other major economic centers of the state via the Presidente Dutra Highway, one of the main highway axes of Brazil.

The journey to São Paulo takes about an hour by car, facilitating product distribution and attracting new investments.

According to recent data, proximity to the coast is also an important differentiator.
