Four classes were opened, with a total of 100 slots by SENAI, to encourage the inclusion of women in this market in Bahia. Since 2018, the “School of Electricians” course has had more than 25 classes held at Neoenergia companies, mostly composed of male students. It is expected that by next year, another 2,462 electricians will be trained.
“We expect that the women trained in this course will be able to join Coelba in the vacancies available until 2021, continuing the plan for the internalization of electricians that has been carried out by the company since 2018,” reveals Fulvio Machado, CEO of the company.
