Federal University of Espírito Santo Launches Opportunities for Technical Positions in Various Areas with Applications Open Until November 28
The Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) announced the opening of applications for two public competitions. These competitions aim to fill ten technical positions in various areas. The opportunities are for professionals with secondary and higher education covering nursing, radiology, oral health, and sign language translation and interpretation. Salaries range from R$ 1,895.33 to R$ 2,507.83, with a workload of 30 hours per week in exclusive dedication regime, according to the Folha Q Concursos website.
Candidates may apply between November 11 and 28. The selection process will include an objective test and a curricular analysis. Additionally, these competitions have an initial validity of two years and may be extended for another two years. This structure offers stability and good prospects for the approved candidates.

Salaries, which range from R$ 1,895.33 to R$ 2,507.83, include benefits as per legislation. The hired individuals will have a workload of 30 hours per week. The initial contract will be for 36 months, with the possibility of extension for the same period, according to Law No. 14,182.
Applications for the UFES Competition
Applications for the UFES competition will take place between November 11 and 28, on the IDCAP website, which is responsible for the selection process. To apply, candidates must pay a fee ranging from R$ 70 for secondary level to R$ 80 for higher level.
Furthermore, candidates who meet the criteria outlined in the edital, such as low income and enrollment in social programs, may request an exemption from fees. Requests should be made between November 11 and 13, also through the IDCAP website. Candidates will need to present supporting documents according to the criteria established in the edital.
Selection Process: Tests and Evaluation
The selection process for UFES vacancies will occur in two phases. The first will be an objective test scheduled for December 15. This test will include questions on general and specific knowledge, such as Portuguese language, legislation, and topics related to each area.
The second phase of the UFES vacancies competition will consist of a curricular analysis. In this phase, the evaluation will consider relevant courses and professional experiences for the position.
