The New Request for Positions for the DNIT Public Competition for High School and Higher Education Provides Opportunities for the Positions of Technicians and Analysts
The National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) submitted a new job request for 1,758 job openings for 4 positions in high school and higher education. The request was based on a technical note justifying the need for these opportunities, distributed among different technical positions and others.
The positions covered, and their respective vacancies in the request, are as follows:
- Administrative Technician: 29 vacancies;
- Transport Infrastructure Support Technician: 1,319 vacancies;
- Administrative Analyst: 189 vacancies; and
- Transport Infrastructure Analyst: 221 vacancies.
According to information from DNIT, if authorized, the competition announcement is expected to be published between January and March of 2024. The proposed schedule anticipates that the tests and other stages will be held between April and June of the same year, with the final results being homologated and the approved candidates appointed in July and August 2024.

Possible Salaries That the Approved Candidates Will Receive
Regarding salaries, in the last DNIT competition held in 2012, the approved candidates received the basic salary and the Performance Gratification for Transport Infrastructure Activities (GDAIT). The starting salaries in the 2012 competition for each position were as follows:
- Administrative Technician: R$ 6,201.91;
- Transport Infrastructure Support Technician: R$ 7,125.16;
- Administrative Analyst: R$ 7,507.49; and
- Transport Infrastructure Analyst: R$ 7,507.49.
Each position has specific educational requirements and responsibilities. The Administrative Technician position requires high school education and involves intermediate-level administrative and logistical activities related to DNIT’s responsibilities. The Transport Infrastructure Support Technician position also requires high school education and encompasses specialized technical support in planning, management, research, studies, among other activities related to transport infrastructure.
For the positions of Administrative Analyst and Transport Infrastructure Analyst, a higher education degree in any field or in specific areas, depending on the position, is required. The responsibilities involve high-level administrative and logistical activities, as well as planning, management, research, studies, project preparation, monitoring of works, contract inspection, and agreements, among others related to transport infrastructure.

The last competition held by DNIT took place over 10 years ago, in 2012, and offered 1,200 vacancies for high school and higher education.
