Federal Highway Police Contest (PRF) With More Than 5 Thousand Vacancies Is Requested and Is Underway in the Federal Government Integrated Information System
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) recently announced the expectation of opening a new public contest with more than 5 thousand vacancies, according to the news site NotíciasConcursos. The request is underway in the Federal Government Integrated Information System and is expected to be submitted to the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services by May 31. If authorized, the contest should offer opportunities for the positions of highway police and administrative agent.
The PRF aims to provide 4,902 vacancies for the position of federal highway police officer, in order to reach an approximate strength of 18,000 police officers, dividing the training into 8 classes over the next few years. Currently, the agency has about 400 vacant positions, but the expectation is that this number will increase in the coming years with retirements and leaves of absence of servers.
Requirements to Apply for a Vacancy in the PRF Contest
To apply for a position as a highway police officer, it is necessary to have a complete higher education degree in any field, in addition to being Brazilian, being over 18 years old, and being up to date with electoral and military jurisdictions (in the case of male candidates). It is also required that the candidate possesses a National Driver’s License (CNH) category “B” or higher.
