New Fiat Fastback Abarth Arrives In The Automotive Sector To End Chinese Sales In The Brazilian Market. Meet The New Fiat Car With The Scorpio Symbol That Costs Less Than R$ 160 Thousand.
Especially prepared by the “Scorpion Division,” the new Fiat Fastback Abarth 2024 stands out with its own sporty tuning and a visual specifically designed to live up to the proposal. In practice, it goes beyond the Fastback Limited Edition Powered by Abarth offered until now.
In both cases, the 1.3 Turbo T270 engine with 180/185 horsepower and 27.6 kgfm of torque is the same, however the “legitimate” Fastback Abarth has much more technical and dynamic preparation. The recipe follows the same approach as the Pulse Abarth and includes more profound modifications in tuning, steering, brakes, and suspension, significantly altering the driving experience.
The list includes stiffer shock absorbers that are up to 21% more stable, as well as suspension geometry that lowers the new Fiat Fastback Abarth 2024 by 5 mm compared to other versions. This change reduces body roll in demanding corners and optimizes aspects such as stability and handling. Nevertheless, details from the SUV remain, including a ground clearance of 215 mm, a 20º approach angle, and a 23º departure angle.

The new Fiat car also stands out with its more direct steering, wider and lighter 18-inch wheels, as well as more grippy tires. Compared to other Fastback versions, the Abarth has a response time that is up to 49% faster, delivering more sportiness. The highlight is the Poison mode, a feature that provides firmer driving and more pronounced acceleration at higher speeds.

With all the changes, the new Fiat car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h.
This time is exactly the same as its sibling Pulse Abarth, which is smaller and lighter. For comparison, the fastest Fastback until now, also with a 1.3 turbo engine, accelerated in 8.1 seconds. Regarding design, the highlights of the new Fiat Fastback Abarth 2024 are the new bumpers, uniquely designed wheels, and the traditional Scorpio logos.
Additionally, the Fastback Abarth differentiates itself from its sibling Pulse by the painted trims of the wheel arches and door bases in the body color, following the style of the Jeep Compass S.
Also drawing attention are the dual exhaust outlets, rear spoiler, and stripe surrounding the headlights in carbon fiber. Inside, there are dark details and red upholstery, simulating carbon fiber, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and Abarth badges in several parts of the dashboard.
New Fiat Car Delivers Cutting-Edge Technologies And Performance
On the equipment list, the highlights include a specific Abarth 7-inch digital panel, a 10.1-inch multimedia center, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charger, digital air conditioning, LED headlights and taillights, among others.
The new Fiat Fastback Abarth 2024 also comes with an ADAS package consisting of frontal collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning with active correction, and automatic high beam switching. The model is being sold for R$ 159,990.
The Fiat also took the opportunity of the new version’s arrival to reposition the model’s pricing. Thus, the Limited Edition Powered by Abarth had its price reduced by R$ 8 thousand.
