Touring Sport Version of the Honda City Bets on 1.5 Engine with 126 HP, CVT with 7 Gears and Exclusive Supernova Red Design to Rival Polo GTS and Yaris GR-S, Arriving in Brazilian Stores in August 2025.
Honda has introduced in Brazil the Touring Sport, new top configuration of the City hatch produced in Itirapina (SP).
The version maintains the well-known 1.5 16V DOHC i-VTEC with 126 HP and the CVT with 7 simulated gears, but bets on an exclusive visual package, highlighting the Supernova Red color.
Sales will begin in the end of August 2025, with a suggested price of R$ 152,800 and a three-year warranty with no mileage limit.

300 units take the Mitsubishi Triton Terra to the heart of agribusiness, putting a 205 hp pickup with a more rugged look and twin-turbo on the roads, and transforming the limited edition into a new showcase for the competition for strength, presence, and productivity in the field.
The positioning aims directly at sporty rivals in the segment, such as VW Polo GTS and Toyota Yaris GR-S.
Launch and Positioning
The Touring Sport expands the City hatch range with a “sporty” proposal, without changes to the mechanical set.
The strategy is to offer aesthetic differentiation for customers who are already looking for the most complete configuration, maintaining the same performance and efficiency base of the lineup.

According to Honda and specialized publications, the version will arrive at dealerships in the end of August 2025 for the price of R$ 152,800.
Visual with Dark Finish
The external package adopts elements in Black Piano that accompany the front grille and harmonize with the roof, wheels, fin-style antenna, and mirror covers painted black.
There is also a dark-colored spoiler, sports-style exhaust tip, and specific badges.
The color Supernova Red is the main chromatic differential and, in this configuration, has exclusive offering, according to the brand’s material and industry reports.
Mechanics with 1.5 Aspirated Engine
Under the hood, nothing changes in relation to the rest of the City family.
The hatch preserves the four-cylinder 1.5 aspirated with direct injection, delivering 126 HP at 6,200 rpm and 15.5 kgfm at 4,600 rpm, always associated with the CVT with seven-gear simulation and manual shifts via paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
The decision reinforces the style proposal without interfering in performance, consumption, or calibrations.
Equipment and Safety of the Touring Sport
As the top of the line, the Touring Sport maintains the known convenience and safety package of the City Hatchback Touring.

Among the items mentioned by publications and the brand itself are dual-zone digital air conditioning, wireless charging, six airbags, 7″ TFT display panel, electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, and the Honda Sensing assistance suite.
This package includes ACC with Stop & Go, autonomous emergency braking and lane-keeping assist.
The LaneWatch, a camera in the right mirror that shows the blind spot on the multimedia display, is also still available.
Production in Itirapina (SP)
The City hatch is manufactured at Honda’s plant in Itirapina, in the interior of São Paulo.
The unit concentrates the national automobile production of the brand and supplies the entire network.
The factory operates with the City family (sedan and hatch) and the HR-V, according to communications and reports on the local operation.
Price and Arrival at Dealerships
The price of R$ 152,800 positions the Touring Sport as the most expensive configuration of the City hatch.
The warranty remains at three years with no mileage limit, in line with the current standard of the lineup.
The availability in August 2025 has been confirmed by specialized vehicles, which also reported the public debut at the Interlagos Festival in June.
Competition and Target Audience

The proposal appeals to those looking for a compact with a complete safety and connectivity package, but who want a sportier visual appeal from the factory.
Without mechanical changes, the Touring Sport faces versions with a similar personality in the compact hatch market, such as VW Polo GTS and Toyota Yaris GR-S, focusing on style and content to differentiate the purchase.
With the aesthetic reinforcement and the exclusive color, the Touring Sport delivers what was missing for part of the audience of the City: a more striking visual identity, without giving up the well-known set of 126 HP and the CVT.
Given this package, the question remains simple: does the gain in style and equipment justify, for you, choosing the Touring Sport when comparing it with direct competitors?
