Only candidates of Brazilian nationality, whether born or naturalized, may participate. If the candidate is a foreigner, it is essential that their status in the country is regular, with a permanent visa that allows them to work in Brazil.

Other criteria include being in full enjoyment of political rights, having fulfilled military and electoral obligations, and not having been hired under Law No. 8,745, of 1993, in the last 24 months. Additionally, it is required that the candidate is considered fit for the position after a medical examination conducted by the Integrated Health Care System for Servers (SIASS) of IFMA.

Details of the Vacancy at the Federal Institute

The vacancy at the Federal Institute is aimed at qualified professionals in the area of Mathematics, with a workload of 40 hours per week. The salary ranges from R$ 3,412.63 to R$ 6,356.02, according to the candidate’s qualifications and experiences. The initial contract lasts for 1 year, with the possibility of extension for another year, providing a prospect of continuity for those approved.

In addition to the salary, the selected candidate will also receive a food allowance of R$ 1,000.00, transportation assistance, and pre-school assistance of R$ 484.90 per dependent under 6 years of age.
