Rarest Coffee From Panama Arrives in Dubai and Surprises With Its High Value, Unique Aroma and Climate of Exclusivity That Intrigues Even Experts.
Most Expensive Coffee in the World Arrives in Dubai With Impressive Price and Unprecedented Experience
The most expensive coffee in the world, coming from Panama, has just arrived in Dubai and is being served starting this Saturday (1st) for an impressive price: almost US$ 1,000 per cup — about R$ 5,3 thousand.
The drink, offered by Julith Coffee, is located in the industrial district that has become a favorite spot for coffee lovers in the emirate. The coffee shop plans to serve about 400 cups of this rarity, which has gained global fame for its floral and fruity flavor, as well as its aromatic profile reminiscent of tea.
The founder of the cafe, Turkish Serkan Sağsöz, states that the complete experience involves special filtration, guided tasting, and an exclusive environment.

According to him, the goal is to offer the public an exceptional drink while reinforcing Dubai’s status as a luxury destination and trendsetter in the gourmet world.
The venture opens its doors to enthusiasts who wish to taste, for a high price, a product assessed as one of the rarest in the world.
Aroma, Flavor, and Ritual: Curiosities About the Panamanian Coffee That Conquered Dubai
The coffee served in Dubai comes from the Geisha variety, cultivated on the renowned farm Hacienda La Esmeralda, near the Barú volcano in Panama. The bean, known worldwide for its delicate notes, has won the title of best coffee in the world multiple times in international competitions.
Sağsöz enthusiastically describes the sensory profile, highlighting:
“There are white floral notes like jasmine, citrus flavors like orange and tangerine, and a hint of apricot and peach. It’s like honey, delicate and sweet,” said the coffee-loving entrepreneur.
Thus, Julith Coffee aims to transform a simple cup into a complete sensory experience. Furthermore, the ritual involves high-precision filtration and detailed explanations for those wishing to understand every nuance of the drink.
Record Value: The Numbers Behind the Million-Dollar Bid for the Rarest Coffee in the World
The rarity of the bean explains its high value. In an intense auction that lasted 13 hours, only 20 kilograms of this special coffee were sold for nearly US$ 604 thousand — over R$ 3.2 million, after 549 bids.
The founder reported:
“We mainly competed against Asian companies, which usually win this type of auction (…) It was a big surprise for everyone when they announced our name,” he said.
Therefore, the million-dollar investment reflects not only the value of the drink but also the global competition for the most awarded coffee in the world.
Dubai and Luxury: Why Did the Most Expensive Coffee in the World Choose the Emirate?
Dubai is a global symbol of extravagance, luxury, and exclusive experiences. The city is home to the tallest tower in the world, ultra-luxurious hotels, and even artificial islands. Thus, it positions itself as the ideal place for bold launches — even in the coffee world.
Sağsöz sums up the reason:
“We believe Dubai was the ideal place for this investment.”
This is not the first time the emirate has broken records. In September, another local cafe had already made it into the Guinness World Records by selling a cup for US$ 680 (R$ 3,660). Now, the new price elevates the standard of gastronomic luxury in the world.
Coffee, Exclusivity, and Global Demand: Who Can Drink This Rarity?
Although many collectors and coffee enthusiasts have requested to purchase the bean, Julith Coffee states that, besides a small portion reserved for the Dubai royal family, they do not intend to share the treasure with other buyers.
Thus, the coffee becomes even more exclusive, reinforcing its value and aura of extreme luxury.
