The Ministry of Education (MEC) has just announced the opening of 15,000 spots for the free online course (EAD) on Neuroscience Applied to Education. The initiative aims to train teachers and education professionals, providing knowledge on how the brain learns and how to apply these concepts to improve pedagogical practices.

Neuroeducation, an interdisciplinary field that combines neuroscience, psychology, and pedagogy, has demonstrated the positive impact of strategies based on brain function. By understanding how the brain processes information, educators can optimize the teaching-learning process, increasing content retention, reducing school dropout, and improving students’ academic performance.
Comprehensive and Flexible Content
With a workload of 200 hours, the free online course (EAD) is divided into five main modules:
