The Event in Which Ocyan Will Participate Takes Place for the First Time in the Country, Organized by Three Institutions Specializing in Subsea Installations and Drilling

Rio de Janeiro, November 26, 2019 – Ocyan will participate in the Subsea Drilling Brazil Conference, the largest event in Latin America focused on the subsea installations and drilling market, which will be held on November 28 and 29, at the SulAmérica Convention Center, in Rio de Janeiro.

On the 28th, Rodrigo Chamusca, Technology and Digitalization Manager, responsible for implementing the Ocyan SMART (Advanced Real-Time Monitoring System), will be on the panel discussing artificial intelligence and will explain about the new system implemented in the company a year ago, with results and expectations, as well as other projects under development in the area of innovation and technology for Drilling rigs.

Marcelo Nunes, the Director of Subsea Construction at Ocyan, will participate in the panel on new approaches for subsea installations on the 29th. “We will present the new integrated solutions that Ocyan has been developing for subsea installations. The market demands constant innovations for performance improvement, and we are attentive to this, always offering innovations to the O&G industry,” he explains. The company will also have its own booth in the exhibition hall.

The event takes place for the first time in the country, organized by three institutions specializing in subsea installations and drilling: the International Association of Drilling Companies (IADC Brazil), Subsea UK, and Subsea World Magazine. The meeting aims to promote the sharing of strategies and knowledge about the subsea and Drilling industry market, with a focus on Brazil.
