Program Offers 70 Positions for University Students to Work in Stores and Distribution Centers of Americanas, with Stipend, Benefits, and Focus on Training Future Leaders
Americanas is accepting applications for its new internship program, offering 70 positions aimed at university students from all over Brazil. The opportunities are for work in physical stores and the company’s distribution centers, two strategic sectors for the functioning of the retail network.
The program will last 12 months and aims to develop future leaders to contribute to the company’s growth recovery.
With over 45 million customers and a consolidated presence in the market, Americanas relies on internships as a tool to accelerate talent. Interested candidates can apply until June 8, directly on the company’s website. No previous experience or English knowledge is required.

This is the first time that Americanas’ internship program includes positions in logistics hubs. According to Ana Paula Martins, head of People & Management, the goal is to attract talent aligned with the company’s purpose, encouraging the development of innovative ideas and strengthening operations.
The program is also linked to MOVER – Movement for Racial Equity, which aims to include 10,000 Black people in leadership positions by 2030. Americanas thus reaffirms its commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The selection process includes five stages: application, online test, virtual challenge, group dynamics with the HR team, and final panel. Positions in the stores are available in capitals such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Salvador, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, and Porto Alegre.
There are also opportunities in the São Paulo countryside, such as in Campinas, Bauru, and São José dos Campos, and in cities in Rio de Janeiro such as Niterói and Duque de Caxias.
For the distribution centers, the cities covered are Itapevi (SP), Seropédica (RJ), Uberlândia (MG), and Cabo de Santo Agostinho (PE).
The approved interns will receive a stipend compatible with the market, transportation allowance, meal or food benefits in the cafeteria (for those working in distribution centers), life insurance, access to the Wellhub wellness platform, training through Americanas Educa, as well as discounts through the Allya program and in the company’s physical stores after three months of contract.
At the end of their journey, participants will be ready to take on new challenges within the company, with practical experience and a strategic view of operations.
