Braskem Petrochemical Secures Billion-Dollar Contracts with Petrobras

Petrobras announced in a relevant fact the signing of new long-term billion-dollar contracts estimated at R$16.5 billion with Braskem for the supply of naphtha and ethane and propane.

According to Petrobras’s statement, the naphtha will serve the industrial unit in the state of São Paulo, while the supply of ethane and propane will be destined for the industrial unit in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Estimated at R$19 billion, the billion-dollar contract for naphtha will take effect on 23/12, after the current contract ends, and will be valid until December 31, 2025. The quantity is up to 2 million tons per year.
