PetroRecôncavo Job Openings Are for Candidates with a Degree in Engineering to Work as Trainees in Bahia and Rio Grande do Norte

PetroRecôncavo, the largest independent onshore oil and gas exploration and production operator in Brazil, announced today, December 2, that it is selecting recently graduated engineers for its staff. Recently, the company also announced internship openings for work in the oil sector, check it out here.

Candidates will be expected to monitor and develop activities in the Engineering area, involving feasibility studies, project preparation and technical documentation, and the development of work methods, in order to prepare for filling the planned professional position and enhance knowledge of the company’s business, products, or services.

The job openings at PetroRecôncavo are for the cities of Mata de São João – BA (2 openings), Salvador – BA (2 openings), and Mossoró – RN (2 openings).

Requirements

  • Degree completed between December 2017 and December 2019.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Languages: English – Advanced
  • Willingness to relocate (other states in Brazil)

PetroRecôncavo Assets

The 17 Fields Operated by PetroRecôncavo are located in the Recôncavo Basin, in the State of Bahia, which contains the largest onshore oil reserves in Brazil according to ANP data. The Company estimates that the Operated Fields contain a significant gross volume of Original Oil in Place, totaling approximately 499 million barrels of oil, of which only 17.3% had been produced as of December 31, 2014.
