The Ford Ka Sedan (2019) remains a favorite choice for Brazilian consumers looking for an affordable and reliable car.
With prices around R$ 57 thousand, the model offers excellent cost-benefit and remains competitive in the compact sedan market, even when facing strong rivals.
Robust Engine and Fuel Economy
One of the main features of the Ford Ka Sedan (2019) is its efficient engine.
-
Harley-Davidson created an entry-level motorcycle that seems impossible for those who only know the brand’s big bikes: the X440 uses a 440 cc single-cylinder engine, delivers 27 hp, 38 Nm, a declared fuel consumption of 35 km/l, and showcases a small, rational, and much more accessible Harley in India.
-
GAC Aion UT lands in Brazil for R$ 135,990 as the most affordable electric car in the country with over 200 hp, surpasses BYD Dolphin in size, features a 360 camera, and offers up to 310 km of range to challenge Chinese rivals.
-
Mitsubishi confirms the triumphant return of a car beloved by Brazilians that was discontinued after almost 40 years, based on the Triton, 4×4, and targets rival Toyota Land Cruiser in a plan of 13 SUVs.
-
With a twin-cylinder engine of 49.6 hp and a range exceeding 400 km, the new Honda NX500 2027 debuts with a 5” TFT panel, Showa suspension, HSTC torque control, dual-channel ABS, and unlimited mileage warranty.
The model comes equipped with a 1.5 Ti-VCT Flex three-cylinder engine, capable of delivering 136 horsepower when fueled with ethanol.
This power places the Ka Sedan among the most powerful sedans in its category, ensuring solid performance both in the city and on the highway.
The transmission is also a highlight, with options for a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.
The automatic option is particularly interesting for those seeking more comfort in heavy city traffic, without losing the agility that the engine provides.
Additionally, the fuel consumption of the Ford Ka Sedan is also a positive point. According to Inmetro, the model records an average of 7.6 km/l in the city and 9.9 km/l on the highway with ethanol.
If fueled with gasoline, these numbers jump to 11.2 km/l in the city and 13.9 km/l on the highway, making the sedan an economical choice for daily use.

Interior Space and Comfort of the Ford Ka
Another strong point of the Ford Ka Sedan (2019) is its interior space. The model was designed to provide a good level of comfort for all occupants.
With 4.27 meters in length and 2.49 meters in wheelbase, the sedan ensures a spacious interior, providing good legroom for rear-seat passengers, something that many competitors in the category cannot offer as effectively.
The trunk is also quite generous for a compact sedan, offering 445 liters of capacity.
This makes the model an interesting option for families or individuals who need more space for luggage and shopping.
In terms of comfort and technology, the Ford Ka Sedan (2019) does not disappoint.
The model comes equipped with electric steering and a multimedia center with a 6.5-inch screen, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, facilitating integration with smartphones and providing a highly updated connectivity experience.
Safety as a Priority
Safety is an aspect that cannot be overlooked, and Ford has made sure to invest in this area.
The Ford Ka Sedan 2019 comes equipped with ABS brakes with EBD, traction and stability control, and hill-start assist.
These standard items contribute to a safer driving experience, both in urban routes and on highways.
Additionally, the model features four airbags (front and side) in the more complete versions, which increases occupant protection in the event of a collision.
For those seeking even more safety, the Ka Sedan offers as an optional the tire pressure monitoring system, which can help prevent accidents caused by poorly inflated tires.

Competitive Price and Versions
With a price around R$ 57 thousand, the Ford Ka Sedan 2019 is available in different versions, catering to various consumer profiles.
The entry-level version, called SE, is equipped with a 1.0 engine and manual transmission, offering the basic comfort and safety features.
The more complete versions, such as the Titanium, include the 1.5 engine, automatic transmission, alloy wheels, fog lights, and electric mirrors.
The price can vary depending on the version and optional equipment chosen, but on average, the price of a new Ford Ka Sedan in 2019 ranges from R$ 57 thousand to R$ 69 thousand.
For those looking to buy a used vehicle, the Ka Sedan is also an interesting option, as the depreciation of the model is lower compared to other vehicles in the same segment.
This factor contributes to the model’s popularity in the used and second-hand car market, further consolidating its reputation.
Affordable and Functional
The Ford Ka Sedan (2019) appeals due to both its affordable price and versatility.
With a modern design, the car not only impresses visually but also effectively fulfills its role of transporting families or individuals who need extra space in their daily life.
The combination of an efficient engine, economical consumption, and a good safety package makes the model a secure choice for those seeking a compact sedan.
Is It Worth Having a Ford Ka?
For those looking for a reliable, economical, and comfortable vehicle at an affordable price, the Ford Ka Sedan 2019 remains one of the best options on the market.
With a loyal consumer base and good reviews from experts, the model remains a solid choice for those wanting a car for daily use without compromising performance and technology.
And you, do you think the Ford Ka Sedan 2019 still has what it takes to continue being successful in Brazil?

A autonomia é a multiplicação do consumo x capacidade do tanque.
Usei um Ka Sedan em uma viagem de quase 2.000 km em 2021 e o único defeito que percebi foi a tendência de sair de frente em curvas mais acentuadas.
O resto eu achei muito bom.
